The stormy nor’easter of Friday night provided the backdrop for an evening of psychic entertainment and unexpected excitement presented by the Lacey Food Bank Kids Volunteers.
Guests were entertained by a talented company of intuitive from Charmed in Company who read cards, palms, sticks, and angels while shedding light on career changes, romance possibilities, and trips to foreign lands! While they waited, our guests enjoyed a hot buffet sampling of the best of Captains Inn fare that satisfied everyone’s taste buds. Our biggest Tricky Tray Table ever offered a chance to go home with fabulous items from Lenox, Million Dollar Roses, the Captains Inn, and so many other exciting and fun gifts and decorative accessories!
The LFBKids Volunteers want to thank everyone who came out and supported this event. Despite the weather and falling trees, we all were there for the same reason. And that was to support the Kids who look to us for help – at Christmas and at Back2School and Halloween and Easter and so many other times during the year.
The Lacey Food Bank Kids Volunteers receive no funding from the Lacey Food Bank for the projects they undertake. This night’s event will help us reach our goal of providing Christmas gifts to each of the Lacey children on our food bank client list. We can’t do any of what we do, without you!!!
Special thanks to Rosa Steitz, Debbie DeAnnuntis Candeletti, Judy Ryan and Elaine Giliberti Brueckmann who handled the door, the raffles, and the spirits!!! Thank You to Debbie Kay and the staff at the Captain’s Inn for their help, excellent service, friendship, and continued generosity to our Mission.
And most important, Thank You All for always being there when we need you. We know we’ll see you next year!
