Hard to believe how one act of mischievousness parlayed itself into a Win*Win*Win for all!! We closed out the Heinz Ketchup Kaper last week and the real winners in this are the clients and families of the Lacey Food Bank. Thanks to all of you, the Lacey Food Bank now has over 250 bottles of ketchup to distribute to our client families. As many of our volunteers and donors know, condiments are not high up on the list of food necessities but we also know that the addition of spices and flavorings and condiments go far in making some of the less palatable foods tasty and appealing – especially to the children! And with this donation, we certainly hit the mother-lode!! Our thanks to #Heinz for providing the opportunity (and the ketchup) and to Maria DiLeo at Perkins for being such a good friend to the Lacey Food Bank.
