Most people come home from work to find the Mailbag in their driveway or maybe an Amazon delivery on their front porch. Not so for LFBKids Volunteer Louisa Rebecca Kasper. Louisa came home to a nice surprise tonight! Southern Regional School’s Gerilyn Marie’s “Sock-it-to-me” October campaign flowed over to the Lacey Food Bank Kids just in time for Christmas! With more than 220 kids on our client list, we will need at least 1,100 pairs of socks in order to give each child enough socks (5 pairs each) to see them through a school week. This donation moves us to within toe-wiggling room of our goal number! Thank you, Gerilyn Marie and your students (and Louisa) for once again sockin’ it to us!! ~ Laura Caroccia
