If you were to ask me, Mr. Rogers had it right. If you look for the helpers, you’ll be sure to find them. And just recently the Lacey Food Bank was blessed to meet some of the nicest helpers around. Meet Laura Parzanese DiGirolamo and her husband Joe from Empire Restoration. Neighbors of Food Bank volunteer Donna McAvoy, they recently made a bucket list dream of ours come true. After years and years of countless hours of foot and hand truck traffic, the floor in our distribution room received a facelift! A deep cleaning, professionally done, and gifted to us by Empire Restoration!! Thank You so very much, Laura and Joe!!! But it wasn’t over yet. The next day a fresh coat of paint was put down thanks to Jackie Ranuska, Laurie Simpkins Richardson, Tom Blackwell, and Donna & Bob McAvoy!
