As we get to Thanksgiving 2020 I realize that this year, more than ever, we have an awful lot of reasons to be thankful. Thank You to our Lacey Neighbors and Community who have supported us and given so freely of their time and resources during this difficult year. Thank You to our Volunteers who spend an unbelievable amount of hours sorting, bagging and distributing food to our clients. Thank You to our Storekeepers who keep our doors open 6 days a week. Thank You to the men and women who are behind the scenes – those that perform the everyday tasks – who recycle the cardboard; who unload the food from the Fulfill truck to the staging area; who rotate the food stocks and check expiration dates; who fill out the forms – so many forms – without complaint; who carry and schelp to waiting cars or from cars to storage to food bank and back. Thank You to our LFBKIds Volunteers who provide for our youngest clients. Thank You to our Board who give so freely of their time and talents. Thank You to Lacey Township Administration – our Commitee Members, Municipal Clerk, Police Department, Public Works and Recreation – for their ongoing support of our Mission of Service to the community. To them and you and countless others, Happy Thanksgiving!
