Girl Scouts, the largest girl-serving organization in the United States, builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. And they make a scrumptious cookie assortment too!! For more years than I can remember, the Girl Scouts have been lending a hand to the Lacey Food Bank with food drives, Christmas goodies, SnackPack4Kids and so much more. But our favorite time of the year – and hands down the favorite of our client families – is Girl Scout Cookie time! A big and delicious shout out to the Girl Scouts from Jersey Shore Troop 50597 for this unbelievably delicious donation of 200 CASES of family favorite cookies!! From this former GSLeader and all of us at the LFB, Thank You to the Girls, their Leaders, and their parents for their continued support of the Circle of Friendship – one of the first lessons taught to the Girl Scouts by its founder Juliette (Daisy) Gordon Low.
