Caffrey’s held a 4-hour food drive in their parking lot Sunday. The result was astounding -faithful customers and their (out of work ) staff collected 6 filled to the brim SUV’S and with boss Joe delivered it all to the food bank. Yesterday Joe stopped by with a stash of cash & checks collected at the site from generous LFB backers. $361.00 total.
Caffrey’s is a dear supporter all year round as has been from the beginning of the food bank.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to all of you who gave of their time, food & $$$ to help us get through the winter. Along with Caffrey’s, THE LAND OF OZ learning center also collected food for the drive. And for this we thank them.
Let us hope that the town rulers enable them to rebuild quickly. The hearing is set for Dec. 12th.
