Lacey Municipal Police Foundation – Thank You

I’ve often heard that there is really no such thing as chance encounters. More years ago than I would care to admit, I met these two gentlemen – at different times and with different organizations – while participating in non food bank youth and community activities. And this past Saturday we met again when they became esteemed members of the Lacey Food Bank Kids Christmas benefactors. At the forefront of our Lacey community, Police Chief Michael DiBella and Mr. Dan Cortese are no strangers to programs that build youth and community. As men who live the motto of “Do Something Extraordinary” they have not only gifted the Kids with a generous donation of $1,000.00 on behalf of the Lacey Municipal Police Foundation but have also volunteered to lend a hand during the upcoming distribution! With no funding from the Lacey Food Bank, we can’t Keep the Promise of Christmas to the Lacey Food Bank Kids without the continuing support of friends like this who dig deep in their hearts and in their wallets to provide us with the means to continue our Mission. Thank you Chief and Dan and Thank You to all the members of the Lacey Municipal Police Foundation for your most generous gift to the children! Merry Christmas!
