Today I am reminded of a quote I heard years ago… “Children are a third of our population but 100% of our future” And if that be so, then the people of Lacey should be happy to know that our future is in good and kind hands. The students of the Cedar Creek School recently collected an amazing 455 cans of soup during their Soup Drive Class Competition. Teacher, Mrs.Merrilee Donohue McCue, tells us that as with any competition, one class claimed the bragging rights to this year’s event. Way to go Cedar Creek 3rd Graders for bringing in the most cans!
