Girl Scout troop 506 of United Methodist Church participated in a tour of our food bank this past Saturday and they experienced how our clients receive foods at distributions. They also worked at receiving some foods and how we have to check for expiration dates and conditions before we can issue to our clients, how those foods were stocked and how the distribution takes place… Last but not least, they presented the Food Bank with a $100 check from the funds they earned by selling cookies.
