In 2010 we presented our very first Friend of the Food Bank award to a community member who went above and beyond in service to the Lacey Food Bank. Every year since we honor, recognize and thank the people who give so unselfishly of their time and talent to the Lacey Food Bank. And although we are still operating on a semi-restricted basis, Chairman Harold (Pete) Peters recently paid a visit to present Certificates of Thanks to our Township Administrator, Veronica Laureigh; to James Wioland, Director of Lacey Recreation and to Robert Kraska, Director of the Department of Public Works. Each of these individuals along with everyone in their departments has made our job so much easier this last hectic and oft-times concerning year. Please join us in celebrating the people whose actions enable us to fulfill our mission of solving hunger in our own community.
