The Adult Division of the Lacey Soccer Club met on Sunday for their Annual Adult League Charity Game and the Winner Was…..THE LACEY FOOD BANK!! A yearly tradition this Adult League Charity Game has club adults facing off in a spirited game where everyone comes out a winner!! From my own earliest days with the Lacey Food Bank to today, our Lacey Soccer Club – Adults and Players – have always been among the first to lend a hand, pack a bag or fill a Christmas Stocking. And Sunday’s Annual Adult Charity Game was no exception. Storemaster Dick picked up a van full of non-perishables for the Food Bank shelves and I stuffed my car with the equivalent of 5 overflowing shopping carts full of toys and games and arts and crafts! Thank You Lacey Soccer Club Adult League for giving us a fabulous start to our Fall & Holiday Campaigns!
