Back at the beginning of the Lacey Food Bank, we would recognize an exceptional achievement with an “Atta Boy” salute. This group of Volunteers certainly deserves that and a round of applause as well. Congratulations to Chairman Harold Peters (Pete) and his Yard Sale Crew for an outstanding job yesterday! Working pretty much from Sun Up to Sun Down they moved, set up, sold, and packed tables and tables of treasures and tchotchkes – all to benefit the Lacey Food Bank. Nobody said it better than Pete in his message to our Volunteers “We went over the top today with a successful sale of over $1100. Great crew showed up starting at 6 am, hanging on till 4 pm. Perfect weather and many happy customers. Hard work all day but well worth the effort. Proud to be part of the team, Pete'” Thank You Pete, and all the Volunteers who turned out to help. And an even bigger THANK YOU to all our neighbors and friends in Lacey Township for your continuing support!!
