Yesterday more than 95 Lacey children from 6 months to 17 were given the gift of friendship and love from a determined group of LFBKids Volunteers aided and encouraged by the support of an awesome Lacey community. With something for everyone, bags & bags were filled to overflowing with the latest toys and games, beauty supplies and sports equipment, warm winter scarves and gloves and socks….and so much more!! Wrapping supplies and even Christmas Morning Breakfast Bags were available to all!! To the LFBKids Volunteers (and their families who supported and assisted and humored us for so many weeks prior), to the Interact Students from LTHS, the Staff of Ryan’s ServiCenter, Brian Swanke, Cousin Vinny, Janice & her Fabulous Group of Knitters, Lacey Food Bank, Lacey Police, Lacey Public Works, the Municipal Clerk’s Office and the Administrator’s Office, THANK YOU for another year of smiles and sighs of relief from parents and caregivers who count on us to KEEP THE PROMISE OF CHRISTMAS and to help them through this most beautiful time of the year.
