We have recently learned of the passing of one of the Lacey Food Bank’s great volunteers, Ann Brinkman. No, you probably don’t remember her because she was with us way back to the first year, one of the members of the three “Skiffway Girls”. Ann was willing to do any and everything, being a shopper gift wrapper for neighbor & friend Sally McGahey at Christmas and other times of the year for the food bank kids. She happily cut coupons for Dick to use and helped with all the mailings, as well as manning the fort on distribution days. Ann was 93 when she passed. We have missed her for several years and think of her often. “Safe passage ” dear Annie.
