They say Christmas is a magical time for children. But if the truth be told it is also a very magical time for the Supporters and Volunteers of the Lacey Food Bank Kids! In these few short days leading up to our Christmas Kids Distribution, we get to experience the generosity and friendship of so many people. We can’t Keep the Promise of Christmas to the Lacey Food Bank Kids without the continuing support of friends like this, the Sea Breeze Social Committee, and Residents, who dig deep in their hearts and provide us with the means to continue our Mission. Remembering a conversation from a long-ago child about how he never had a Christmas Stocking of his own, this year we asked our friends at Sea Breeze to take on the daunting task of providing a Christmas Stocking chock full of the traditional stocking gifts for everyone of our registered children. And Boy! Did they deliver! Like Santa’s Elves, they got the job done in record time!! Stockings and toys – enough to fill a truck – for good girls and boys were picked up yesterday!! Thank You to Judy Hovey, President of the Social Committee, and LFBKids Volunteer Kathy Verdicchio, and all our Friends at Sea Breeze for your support and enthusiasm! 🤶🏻🎅🏻
