A client left a message at the Food Bank after the recent December/Christmas food distribution expressing his thanks for the unbelievable amount of food and household items that he was given. His thanks to us only serve to reinforce the foundation and Mission of the Lacey Food Bank. If it wasn’t for the generous donations from our schools, our businesses, and our Lacey Friends and Neighbors we couldn’t continue the job started nearly 30 years ago by Emil Ciangetti, more often known back then as Mr. Food Bank. Emil had a vision and thanks to all of you the Lacey Food Bank continues to honor his promise that “No one in Lacey will ever have to go to bed hungry”. Special thanks for making this Christmas extra special for our clients to Zano Brothers of Brooklyn for a very generous donation of turkeys to round out their Christmas dinner and to Mrs. Ritter’s students at the Mill Pond School with their donation that filled 10 shopping carts!!! From our Clients and from all of us – Thank You, Friends!!
