Without a doubt, the outreach to our community from our community goes far beyond what any of us could have imagined on March 9, 2020. Throughout this pandemic, we’ve come to learn that our beliefs about the goodness that is Lacey Township were spot on….from the beginning. The outpouring of donations and offers of help have been overwhelming and gratefully appreciated. Food donations have spiked to levels we have not seen – especially at this time of year- in all the years I’ve been with the Lacey Food Bank. Additionally, your monetary donations that allow us to maintain and restock, has encouraged and enabled us to begin planning for the recovery stage that hopefully will follow in short order. We are especially thankful to the Rotary Club of Forked River for their generous $1,000.00 donation to our Social Services Committee. We know that going forward too many of our client families will be faced with tough decisions and this Rotary contribution will help us, help them get over some of the rougher spots ahead. Thank You Rotary Club of Forked River for your continued support to us and your continued support to all of Lacey Township!
